Jeeyae Lee

Jeeyae began piano studies with Feilin Lin in late 2004, and remained in
the studio for two years.  After winning F-level at the 2006 Iowa City
IMTA Piano Auditions, Jeeyae and her family moved to Michigan.  

Jeeyae is currently a pre-med biology major at The University of Michigan.

Heekyung & Bokyung Choi

Heekyung and Bokyung (older and younger sisters,
respectively), began piano studies with Feilin Lin
in mid 2004.  After winning D-level at the 2005
Iowa City IMTA Piano Auditions, Heekyung (and  
her sister Bokyung), returned to South Korea with
their parents and brother.

Two years after their return to Korea, Heekyung
and Bokyung emailed us, and shared with us their
parents decision to move to Canada.

Feilin Lin's Piano Studio Alumnus 2009

After studying piano with Feilin Lin from July 2005 to September
2009, Sarah commenced undergraduate piano studies Fall 2009  at
College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), University of Cincinnati, the
6th ranked piano program in America  (U.S. News & World Report)

Sarah was accepted into the CCM studio of Professor Awadagin Pratt!
Meigen and Ailin Yu

Meigen and Ailin Yu studied piano with Feilin Lin
from January 2006 until the end of October 2009.  
They recently moved with their family to Atchison,
Kansas.

Among their piano accomplishments under Feilin Lin
are multiple wins at the Iowa City IMTA Auditions, a
State win and Honorable mention win at the Iowa
IMTA State Piano Auditions, and Honorable Mention
at the Seventeenth Annual Young Artists Piano
Competition.

In addition to piano, both girls have enjoyed success
as competitive skaters. Ailin enjoys designing jewelery
and drawing, and Meigen enjoys creative writing.

Yuni began piano studies with Feilin
Lin in 2005, and remained in the studio
for a year.  After winning Alternate
F-level at the 2006 Iowa City IMTA
Piano Auditions, Yuni graduated from
West High.

Yuni subsequently attended the
University of Iowa as a science major
before transferring to Iowa State, where
she is currently a senior.
